Second graders learned about the art of Pablo Picasso. We discussed the art of his Blue Period, Rose Period, and Cubism works. The students seemed amazed at one of his realistic works he painted when he was only a teenager. It was so realistic that it looked like a photograph. Below students have painted distorted faces in the cubist-style of Picasso.
