Last Friday was a blast as our school celebrated Youth Art Month with a parade! The event was a fun way to conclude our exciting study of Jamaica. Some pictures are included below -- more to follow! Thanks to all for helping to make this event and unit of study possible. "YAM on Mon!"

First graders use their new knowledge of the parts of an insect and color mixing to create fabulous bugs that feature the secondary colors. Second grade students have fun in the art room using various tools and materials to paint an array of flowers to be used in a collage. The silk flower arrangements on tables provide inspiration. |

She is a native of Linden, Alabama and a 1985 graduate of the University of Alabama. Mrs. Hall was named Alabama Elementary Art Educator of the Year 2011 & 1999 and the Alabama House and Senate honored her with a House Joint Resolution for earning Albertville Chamber of Commerce's 2011 Educator of the Year.
