First grade students traveled to the pumpkin patch last month with their classroom teacher. In the library, Mrs. Young read a story about pumpkins and in art class, students enjoyed drawing and painting a still life set-up of pumpkins. Students delighted in describing the pumpkins they saw on their field trip adventure!
I am excited about attending the Alabama Art Education Association State Conference in Florence! It will be great to converse with art educators and attend workshops. I always learn so much at our conference.
