Congratulations to one of our first graders for winning 2nd Place Overall in the Mountain Valley Arts Council Christmas Card Contest. His drawing features a design he created and named "Jolly Elf." He will be awarded a cash prize and a package of printed "Jolly Elf" Christmas cards.
Congratulations to one of our second graders for having his artwork, "Still Life with Cat" selected for display in the State Superintendent's Visual Arts Exhibit in Montgomery, Alabama during the weeks of February 2-22, 2012.

She is a native of Linden, Alabama and a 1985 graduate of the University of Alabama. Mrs. Hall was named Alabama Elementary Art Educator of the Year 2011 & 1999 and the Alabama House and Senate honored her with a House Joint Resolution for earning Albertville Chamber of Commerce's 2011 Educator of the Year.
